Happy New Year Everyone. Today’s post is a very quick celebration post to welcome in 2022.
2021 was a tough year. I had hope a few times about heading back to the office for in-person meetings and conferences again. Some places opened briefly, but not everywhere. I live in one of those areas where things are still fairly shut down. For 2022, I am hoping that the pandemic will end and we will be able to get back to something closer to what life was like before COVID-19.
I also wish that 2022 will bring you all of the joys and success for which you wish. Here is hoping for a successful year for all of us.
Now, let me tell you a little bit about this site.
A Little Bit about Tech Presenters
Tech Presenters is a new website that I plan to grow slowly. For those of you arriving here for the first time, my aim is to provide tips, tutorials and reviews to content creators and to people who deliver presentations. In late 2021, I started the site with a number of PowerPoint tutorials in my presentations section and followed that up with some Audacity Tutorials in the media side of the site. I still have to build out the technology side of my site.
My experience includes over 20 years as a media and presentation technician, 5 years as a blogger and 1 year as a YouTuber. My post secondary education is also in media and technology. This website is a way for me to share my experience to help others.
For where to go from here, I have a few ideas.
One thing I plan to look at is some low cost photo editors for people just starting out on a low budget. I will also likely do some basic tutorials for those editors and some posts answering questions that seem to be lacking answers on the Internet.
I plan to share my research from when I looked for a new computer for my own content creation projects. That will be presented in an impartial way so that you can make a more informed decision on what you want.
I also plan to review some of the products that I use to create my own YouTube videos, and to do some more PowerPoint Tutorials.
There will be posts here to provide some tips for both content and presentation creation. There will also be tips for presenters here in the future.
These are just a few of my ideas. There is plenty more coming.
Being that Tech Presenters is still a very new website, I am open to questions from you. If you have any questions (or suggestions) that you would like me to cover, feel free to email me. You can find my information on my contact page.
Bringing it together…
With the end of 2021 and the start of 2022 I want to extend to you a very Happy New Year. Hopefully it will be a great year for all of us.
Tech Presenters is a website that I started in late 2021 and I plan to grow it into 2022. I am really looking forward to providing helpful content in providing easy tips for media, technology and presentations. I hope that you will come back to check out my future articles.
Until next time, Happy Presenting Everyone!!!
For those wondering, I figured that I would leave you with some links to my other work. These other websites are hobby related, so they may not be up your alley. That said, you might find them interesting. My first website is Must Contain Minis. I have been running that since 2016. I also create YouTube videos under the same name. You will see that I am still improving my craft on the videos, but I can share with you my success and failures to help you with your own projects. Finally, I write a weekly column for the biggest independent miniatures gaming website out there – Bell of Lost Souls. You can find my author page for them here.
